1950s Neckerchief

An early troop neckerchief from the 1950s, bearing the founding date of 1910, rather than the date the troop was first chartered.

60th Anniversary Patch

For the 60th Anniversary, the troop issued a large fully embroidered diamond designed "pie" patch, usable both as a neckerchief patch and a jacket patch. (1980).

80th Anniversary Patch

With the coming of the millenium, the troop issued another commemorative red and gold shoulder patch, this one for the 80th Anniversary (2000).

50th Anniversary Neckechief

The 50th Anniversary gold neckerchief (1970)



65th Anniversary Patch

The diamond shape continued with the small 65th Anniversary diamond "pie" nylon patch with an iron-on backing (1985).

Millennial Neckerchief

For the new millennium, the troop voted to adopt a new neckerchief in BSA dark green with red piping. An embroidered identifies Troop 240 (2001).

50th Anniversary Patch

The 50th Anniversary shoulder patch which took the place of the RWS for Bronx Council and the red troop numerals (1970)


70th Anniversary Patch

For the 70th Anniversary, the troop issued a special shoulder patch in gold and red (1990).

Millennial Patch

The standard red and gold shoulder patch was replaced with a new green, red and gold one that is currently in use (2001).
